چکیده

The effects of thermal conductivity which depend on temperature are conversely proportional with the linear function free convective flow where fluid is viscous and incompressible along a heated uniform vertical wavy surface has been examined in this study. boundary layer equations associated conditions that govern converted into nondimensional form by using an appropriate transformation. In domain plate flat, resulting method nonlinear PDEs mapped then worked out numerically applying implicit central finite difference technique Newton’s quasilinearization method, block Thomas algorithm well known as Keller-box method. outputs obtained terms heat transferring rate, frictional coefficient skin, isotherms, streamlines. outcomes showed local skin friction coefficient, temperature, velocity all decreasing, both become narrower rising values reciprocal variation temperature-dependent conductivity. On other hand, velocity, decrease 43% 64%, respectively, but transfer rate increases 61% approximately, thinner when Prandtl number increases.

Effects of Temperature Dependent Thermal Conductivity on Natural Convection Flow along a Vertical Wavy Surface with Heat Generation

-In this paper, the effect of temperature dependent thermal conductivity on natural convection flow of viscous incompressible fluid along a uniformly heated vertical wavy surface with heat generation has been investigated. The governing boundary layer equations are first transformed into a non-dimensional form using suitable set of dimensionless variables. The resulting nonlinear system of part...

Mhd Natural Convection Flow along a Vertical Wavy Surface in Presence of Heat Generation/absorption with Viscosity Dependent on Temperature

The present numerical simulation is analyzed the Magnetohydrodynamic natural convection flow and heat transfer along a uniformly heated vertical wavy surface in presence of heat generation/absorption with temperature dependent variable viscosity. Using the appropriate transformations the governing boundary layer equations are reduced to non-dimensional forms. The resulting nonlinear system of p...

Effects of the Wavy Surface on Free Convection-Radiation along an Inclined Plate

A numerical analysis used to simulate the effects of wavy surfaces and thermal radiation on natural convection heat transfer boundary layer flow over an inclined wavy plate has been investigated. A simple coordinate transformation is employed to transform the complex wavy surface into a flat plate. The boundary layer equations and the boundary conditions are discretized by the finite difference...

Thermal interaction between free convection and forced convection along a vertical conducting wall

A theoretical study is presented in this paper to investigate the conjugate heat transfer across a vertical ®nite wall separating two forced and free convection ̄ows at different temperatures. It is assumed that the heat conduction in the wall is only in the transversal direction. We also assume that countercurrent boundary layers are formed on the both sides of the wall. The governing equation...

Thermal Radiation Effects on Hydromagnetic Mixed Convection Flow along a Magnetized Vertical Porous Plate

Aim of the present work is to investigate the effect of radiation on steady mixed convection boundary layer flow of viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid past a semi-infinite magnetized vertical porous plate with uniform transpiration and variable transverse magnetic field along the surface. The equations governing the flow magnetic and temperature field are reduced to dimensio...
